Singing Sisterhood winter term 2025
Wieeeee I’m so happy you’re joining the Singing Sisterhood for the coming term! Here you can make your payment for winter term 2025 starting January 30th.
If you’re new here, then a huge 🎊CONGRATULATIONS🎊 on passing the audition and making the decision to join us! Welcome into this wonderful group.
If you’re not new here then a huge 😍WELCOME BACK😍, and thank you for your ongoing commitment to the choir - it means a lot 🥹.
I’m so excited to get started!
Once I’ve received your payment I’ll send some onboarding materials to you and add you to the Facebook group (if you’re not already there) so we can get excited together.
SOME IMPORTANT STUFF BEFORE YOU SIGN UP (you’ll be asked to confirm you’ve read and understand some of these points when you check out):

4. 20TH FEB

6. 13TH MARCH
7. 20TH MARCH

REPERTOIRE
We will learn all new songs in the rehearsals. I'll do an extra newbie day to catch new members up on the existing material
SING & HANG DAY
Will most probably happen at Marie-Louise's place at some point during term
OTHER HANGS
I'm excited to do other things, too and I'd love if people feel inspired to arrange things.
From my side, I feel inspired to arrange the FLASHMOB in some shopping centre and go celebrate our courage afterwards with a hot chocolate or something 🥰 - We’ll arrange a date together when term starts if there’s excitement
CONCERTS
Our known concert dates for this term are:
SATURDAY 8TH MARCH: Save the date. It’s international women’s day and a great time for us to sing, maybe in collaboration with Klustret Ekskäret.
SATURDAY 29TH MARCH: Performance at Marie-Louise’s (choir member’s) birthday party 🥳
WATCH THIS SPACE: I want to put on the show/experience of a lifetime (so far) in Spring 2025 and I want the choir to be a big part! March or April 2025 is my aim but let’s see.
CHOIR COMMITMENT
The intention of this choir is to be pretty darn tight and musically great while also saying a big F*** You to perfectionism! So, while we have a lot of fun, there is a level of commitment required to be part of this group. You are expected to attend at least 70% of our sessions. If you can't attend a session, you're expected to practice at home to make up what you missed (practice materials are provided)
So make sure you add the term dates to your calendar now. Hopefully this Google Calendar link works for you: https://calendar.app.google/R4SR94WqTyQDJdHs7
This commitment expectation applies to our 10 set rehearsal, not to the hangout sessions. But, hopefully you’ll attend hangs and such if you possibly can, as it contributes to making us feel great and sing great as a group.
Please also put the concert dates in your calendar and plan around them as best you can - it does make a huge difference whether you are there are not!
The sisterhood needs you! 🫵🥹🥰
REFUND POLICY
I (Kim) really want everyone to have a great time in this choir. If you're feeling unsatisfied about something, please talk to me and know that I will do my very best to make improvements for you. Saying this, this work is my livelihood and I count on the choir as an income source. Please be sure you want to commit to the choir when you sign up. There will be no refunds for any reason and you cannot transfer your term fee to another term if you decide to drop out
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The songs we learn are the intellectual property of me, Kim Gajraj. I publish the lyrics and audio guides freely for you to learn at home. But I have certain boundaries around this: -
(1) If you perform my songs outside of choir settings when I'm not there, I want you to tell at the same time that the song is by me, and make sure your audience gets the info on my Spotify, or on how to sign up for the choir
(2) You may not share the audio guides for the tracks with people outside the choir. You can share the full song demos or anything that is set to "public" on Soundcloud
(3) You can share the song lyrics, but always put me Kim Gajraj as author whether you share publicly or privately
(4) You may not teach my songs to other groups outside the choir without my express permission in writing (which I probably won't give, but I'm open to hear about why you want to do this)
